BODY/MIND/SOUL CHALLENGE

Every day we are going to do action steps to connect BODY, MIND + SOUL.

 

They can all be done in 30 minutes or less, and are all designed to support you in feeling happier and healthier! 

Consult your physician or other health care professional before starting this or any other fitness program to determine if it is right for your needs.

DAY 3 BODY ACTION STEP

DYNAMIC ACTIVATION + HIIT WORKOUT

Go through this dynamic activation sequence to stretch and prepare your body to move! Set a timer and do each exercise for 30 seconds

  • Lateral Walks

  • Half Squat + Reach

  • Hinges

  • Inchworms

  • Plank to Runner's Lunge **

  • Runner's Lunge + Cossack Stretch  **

  • Push-Up to Side Plank **

  • Plank Up Downs **

  • Lateral Lunges **

  • Curtsy Lunges **

** means you need to repeat the exercise on both sides!

That may be enough of a workout for some of you! BUUUUT if you want more, try this Tabata circuit too! Get a timer, do each exercise for 20 seconds and rest for 10 seconds. Repeat for 2x through

  • High Knees

  • Pendulums

  • Single Leg Pop Ups

  • Star Jacks

8-MINUTE GUIDED MEDITATION

This meditation track should already be in your email! If not, click above for a .zip file containing the meditation.

Go to a space where you won't be disturbed, pop your headphones on, and find a position that is comfortable for you.

 

This is the kind of meditation where I will be with you the entire time.

DAY 3 SOUL ACTION STEP

CONNECTION PRACTICE

Write a handwritten note for someone you love. Take the time to share something you admire and appreciate about them. Mail it if you can (yes, old-school post office style), or hand-deliver it! Sometimes I like to surprise people with these notes by putting them on their car, near their morning coffee mug or behind a bathroom mirror.
